Ghost Snake Stories in Madagascar

May 02, 2017

It's true, snakes give most people the heebie jeebies. But for others, like herpetologists, they're fascinating. If you love snakes, talks, or stories about exploring abroad, you'll love Frank Burbrink's talk at this month's SciCafe talk at the Museum of Natural History. Having just come back from a trip to the remote forests of Madagascar, Burbrink is ready to talk about his explorations, discovering new species of reptiles, and his life in the field. Ghost Snake Stories in Madagascar will be held at the Museum of Natural History (Central Park West at 79th Street) on Wednesday, May 3. Doors open at 6:30 and the program begins at 7. The event is 21+ and tickets are free. Just RSVP on their website for a night of hissssstorical fun.
