Don't miss the 39th Annual Village Halloween Parade! The parade takes place on October 31 at 7pm and starts at 6th Avenue south of Spring Street, and will proceed straight up 6th Avenue. If you want to participate, show up between 6:30pm and 8:30pm on 6th Avenue between Spring and Broome Streets. So put your costume on and have fun with thousands of other New Yorkers in costumes!
October 28, 1886, the Statue of Liberty was dedicated. This Friday, October 28, 2011 marks the 125 year anniversary of this day, and it will be celebrated with music, special tours and fireworks at 7:45pm.
