Visit Roosevelt Island!

Located in the East River of NYC, this narrow island is home to a very distinguished architectural history. Along with its architecture, R.I.'s infrastructure is also a marvel. In 1969, the island was divided into 3 residential areas and automobile usage was forbidden. Instead, cars were parked in garages and public transportation was used to get around the island. Although the island has become a little more mainstream, it is nevertheless worth a gander. For more information go to Roosevelt Island.

Mets / Yankees!

Take me out to the ball game! Enjoy a good ol' fashion baseball game at Citi Field  or Yankee Stadium. Both have undergone recent renovations and is the perfect way to spend your day. Did we also mention that you can take a water taxi to the stadiums?! For more information click here.

New York City is arguably the epicenter of entertainment and luckily for you, you can be apart of it all! Come join your favorite TV personalities for a live viewing of their shows. Although long-lines are synonymous with this delicious outdoor eatery, the wait is certainly worth it! Voted "The 10 Best Outdoor Restaurants in NYC", locals and tourists alike flock to this burger, hot dog, and shake joint for the optimal outdoor eating experience. Visit The Bronx Zoo!

Sunshine, family, friends, food, entertainment, and animals! Sounds too good to be true? Look no further, come out and enjoy the vast world of wildlife at the Bronx Zoo! For General Admission, tickets range from $11-$15, but want to make a difference? Visit the Zoo on a Wednesday and participate in "Donation Admissions." The Metropolitan Opera

Visiting the Met is comparable to spending a day in theatrical whimsy. The Met is home to an array of artistic masterpieces, but in the spring The Met offers a collection of full-length classic story ballets as well as pieces by contemporary choreographers.
