A new park in Manhattan: the High Line

Apple core hotels -- high line The High Line is a new park that opened on June 8 in NYC! The High Line was a rail road that was built in the 1930s and stopped lifting freight traffic 30 feet in the air in 1980. Instead of demolishing this structure, they turned the High Line into a public park. The High Line is located on the West Side of Manhattan. The first section runs from Gansevoort Street to West 20th Street, between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues.
