Statue of Liberty’s Crown to re-open by July 4?

Apple core hotels -- statue of liberty2 Good news! U.S. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced that they will do everything they can to reopen the Statue of Liberty’s Crown by the Fourth of July! Liberty Island, symbol of freedom, was closed to the public after September 11. They re-opened little by little the island, then the museum, the observation deck and up to the viewing gallery. So now, be ready to visit again the Crown of Lady Liberty!
