MetroCard

There's lots to see and do while you are in NYC with not enough time for it all!  Here are some tips on how to busy and use a MentroCard.  The MetroCard is aprepaid electronic card tha tyou absolutely need in order to ride all NYC public transportation.  It's very simplet o get one: in every subwaystop, there are vending machines with multiple languates.  The normal fare is $2.00 per ride.  When buying a pay-per-ride card, every $10.00 gets $2.00 free.  You can also buy unlimited cards that come in 1-day ($7.00, you need to ride it over 5 times to get your money's worth), 7-days ($24.00/15 rides), and 30-days ($76.00/over 46 rides) options.  Click here for more information.
